Beyond the unassuming front door you are enveloped by an enchanted world; stone walls pulse with verdant ivy, climbing roses, colorful bougainvillea, trumpet vines, and rows of stately cypress and jacarandas. A towering mesquite tree acts as a canopy of ancient limbs offering dappled sunlight as you stroll down one of the many cobbled paths. Pathways lead to velvety lawns, a meditation garden – a maze of neatly trimmed hedges – soothing fountains, a tiled pool, and a multitude of charming outdoor living areas ~ all designed for ultimate relaxation, a place to unwind and reflect.
A few steps up from the 60×40 foot tiled pool is a grand loggia, or outdoor sala, sumptuous lounging areas with overstuffed pillows, exotic fabrics, and a bar; a perfect spot for enjoying a cool drink. For al fresco dining, the loggia is grounded by a stately antique dining table that can easily accommodate 18. Meandering from the pool area one finds themselves intrigued by narrow, wending paths happening upon quaint stone altars, nichos, and hidden stairwells to rooftop terrazas that offer sweeping views of city lights, Las Monjas, the Parroquia, and the distance hills and mountains.
